Empty Products: April – Rapid-Fire Reviews

Empties

May 15, 2020

Here are my latest Empty Products! With some rapid-fire reviews for you! As much as I love trying and reviewing new skincare products, I’m sometimes left with half-empty tubs that I never return too (whoops). Since we’re in lockdown with nowhere to go, I’ve made it my mission to try and finish the majority of my opened products.

Empty Products Reviews:

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

I loved using this in the summertime, and although this is my second tub, I’m probably not gonna repurchase this anytime soon. It did work wonderfully as a light exfoliation, but I do have so many more exfoliators which work better.

The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid

I will 100% will repurchase. This is amazing and so affordable! All the letters came off mine (LOL), which is probably due to the amount of steam in my bathroom, but I wouldn’t say that’s a flaw. This sinks into the skin wonderfully and doesn’t feel tacky. I’m currently using The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid, but I think I much prefer the Inkey List.

£5.99 | 30ml | Cult Beauty

Aesop Skincare Geranium Body Leaf Cleanser

This smells so bloody good, but I probably won’t purchase a full-size version as it’s just a fancy shower gel init?? I don’t see the point in spending lots of money on shower gels unless it’s for a specific need. I just wanna feel clean!

Dr Jackson’s 03 Everyday Oil

I already have a backup of this, and oh my gosh it’s so good. It really is the perfect oil for everyday use. It sinks into the skin without feeling greasy, and it works wonders on cuticles, elbows, and the feet.

Drunk Elephant Slaai Balm Cleanser

This is amazing. Probably my favourite Drunk Elephant product, and I will for sure repurchase this when I’m finished other balm cleansers. The balm melts instantly on the skin without feeling heavy and melts away any makeup, SPF, and dirt. The packaging is superb, and the magnetic spatular comes in super handy. Plus, it comes with a little bamboo exfoliant which I loved.

£29.00 | 110g | Cult Beauty

The Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalene

This was ok. Was I jumping for joy when I used this? No. Did it work? I don’t know, I think it’s hard to tell with Retinol. But I won’t repurchase this as I have Paula’s Choice retinol, which I much prefer!

£5.80 | 30ml | Cult Beauty
