Review: Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Herbal Concentrate | Kiehls

May 1, 2020

After receiving a PR sample of the Kiehls Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil this in Spring 2019, I ventured out and purchased the full size and oh my gosh it’s so good!

Personally, Cannabis Sativa is an ingredient that my skin loves. So I had no worries that the Kiehls Cannabis Sativa Oil wouldn’t work for me.

A few drops onto this morning and night, and my temperamental skin was soothed. I don’t suffer from acne, nor do I get terrible breakouts, but the ones I do get are as stubborn as hell.

Kiehls have big claims on this product:

Helps visibly reduce skin blotchiness and provides skin with relief from feelings of discomfort
Calms the feeling of stressed skin while helping balance hydration
Helps strengthen skin’s barrier function to help skin protect itself
Non-Comedogenic
For all skin types, including problem, oily, and blemish-prone skin

Kiehls also state that:

95% said this product felt gentle on the skin
92% said their skin felt softer
85% said their skin felt calmed & relieved from discomfort

Does it hold up to those claims?

I think so!

Although this is a facial oil, it works really well on the body too. I had a patch of contact dermatitis on my hips and within 6 days of using this, the affected area has practically disappeared!

I can for sure see this product becoming a staple in my routine!
