REVIEW: Dizziak Hair Care

Dizziak

June 18, 2020

Dizziak is a Black-owned, Female-owned, hair care company who wanted to make beautiful-looking products that could work on all hair types and textures.

Firstly, is this not the best packaging of all time? Bold, graphic, and super minimal – all at the same time. The designer (Ted’s Draws) who created the Dizziak logo and packaging, also creates their incredible social media graphics! Check them out here: @Dizziaklondon

I have super thin, fine hair, which gets oily and dry at the same time – and I only wash my hair twice a month so it has to be an experience! But let me tell this these products are a hell of an experience!

The Hydration Wash smells incredible! Picture this: a freshly dewed forest after a Springtime shower – that’s exactly it! It’s fresh, herby, earthy, and aromatic! Incredible. The shampoo leaves your hair thoroughly cleansed, completely balanced, but not stripped! And oh my gosh the Deep Conditioner makes your hair incredibly glossy — without it looking greasy.

The Hydration Wash includes Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate in place of synthetic foaming agents; which derives from coconut. It lathers up to give a deep cleanse whilst helping to invigorate the scalp for growth. Whilst both products are free from parabens, sulphates, silicones, and it’s cruelty-free and vegan!

You can pick these up from Dizziak, Cult Beauty, Liberty London, and Selfridges, retailing for £20 for the Hydration Shampoo (200ml), and £22 for the Deep Conditioner (200ml).

Also, if you have dry or damaged hair, the conditioner can double as a hair mask! ???? My boyfriend has bleached-silver hair, and he’s due for a post-isolation bleach and cut; I can’t wait to get the deep conditioner on his hair.

Are you in love as much as I am?
