Review: Mask of Magnaminty | Lush Cosmetics

Lush Mask of Magnaminty

May 1, 2020

Let’s start with why you might need Mask of Magnaminty from Lush Cosmetics… Did you have one too many wines last night, and your skin’s shouting at you for not double-cleansing? Have you had a night full of greasy food?

Mask of Magnaminty from Lush Cosmetics is what you need.

It’s a fantastic minty-fresh mask, that exfoliates all those regrets away!

Above all, Mask of Magnaminty is one of Lush Cosmetics‘ best selling products of all time, and rightfully so! For instance, as an ex-employee of Lush, this was one of the products I used to recommend the most.

Mask of Magnaminty uses Kaolin clay to help absorb any excess oils, ground aduki beans to gently exfoliate the skin, and peppermint oil to stimulate the senses – I used to always say it’s the perfect Sunday evening, detox mask.

This could honestly be one of my all-time favourite masks! Lush Cosmetics do make fantastic masks!

However, the single critique I have for this is that it isn’t vegan. I understand why because honey is a fantastic natural humectant, but still it would be great for Lush Cosmetics to come out with a vegan version!

I know that they’re working on releasing vegan alternatives for a lot of their products. Did you see the vegan Ultrabland cleanser? I need to try that!

In conclusion, I do find that I constantly reach for this mask over so many other masks… Plus, this huge tub has lasted for so long. For instance, I would definitely recommend heading to a Lush store and speaking with a sales assistant, even though I know they can be a bit overbearing! (LOL)
