Today’s morning routine consisted of the last drops of each of these products!
? Typology 3% Hyaluronic Acid + 2% B5
A super simple Hyaluronic Acid that has a nice tackiness to it. In this case, I really like the tackiness. I find it allows me to continue with my morning routine without having to rush the next steps. However, I probably won’t repurchase right now as I have plenty of other HA serums to go through. But I have just ordered some more products from Typology to try! ?
❤️ Inkey List Polyglutamic Acid [PR]
Hands down one of my all-time favourite serums! This gives the skin a silky blanket of hydration with a primer-like texture. I use this day and night, every goddam single day and I love it! I especially love it during my morning routine as I can skip moisturiser and just pair this with an SPF!
This is my empty bottle of the stuff, and I currently have an unopened one in my collection; two have been purchased with my own money, and two have been received in PR.
?Skn-RG Pure Shield SPF30 Adaptive Skin Tint [PR]
This sunscreen is not for me… I hate to say it, but it isn’t. It’s a mineral sunscreen that almost feels like a clay mask. I found that I had to spend a few minutes melting it in my palm before applying it, but even then it did leave my skin feeling like I had a full face of foundation on, which is personally not what I like! And let’s not talk about the ‘tint’… The SPF applies with a white/purple cast, and after around 45 minutes it transforms into this pinky tint, which is great if it matches your undertone, but on my skin, it looked like I was wearing the wrong shade of foundation.
However, a positive is that this might be great for someone who is really fair and is wanting a sunscreen that could work as a light foundation/concealer. Either that or layering it over a body oil may be great!! But I wouldn’t personally purchase this with my own money as there’s other sunscreens I prefer!
On another note, I’m really loving a super simple morning routine at the minute! I think as Spring is coming into full bloom, my skin doesn’t require as much as it didn’t in winter – hydration & SPF. That’s it!
